Charlie John Oldman is an English model. He is the son of actor Gary Oldman and model Donya Fiorentina. Gary Oldman won an Academy Award. Donya Fiorentina is also a photographer. Charlie gained fame in 2015. He walked the runway at the Saint Laurent show during Paris Men’s Fashion Week. Recently, the media has focused on him again. This time, it’s because of his rumored relationship with actress Kiernan Shapka.

She starred in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Charlie has one older brother named Gulliver. He also has two half-siblings. His half-brother Alfie is from Gary Oldman’s marriage to actress Lesley Manville. His half-sister, Phelix Imogen Fincher, is from Donya Fiorentina’s past marriage to filmmaker David Fincher. In 2001, Charlie’s parents had a difficult divorce.

Fiorentina accused Oldman of abuse and drinking. She claimed he choked and beat her. The court found no truth in her claims. Gary Oldman got full custody of Charlie and Gulliver. Since then, Fiorentina has tried to bring the claims back to court and the public. But she has not been successful.

Gary Oldman has been married five times. His first wife was English actress Lesley Manville. They were married from 1987 to 1990. Their son Alfie, Charlie’s older half-brother, was born in 1988. From 1990 to 1992, Oldman was married to actress and model Uma Thurman.

Donya Fiorentina was his third wife. They got married on February 16, 1997. Their marriage ended on April 13, 2001. In 2008, Oldman married singer Alexandra Edenborough. She sings jazz and electronica. They divorced in 2015. In 2017, Oldman married actress Gisele Schmidt. She is his fifth and current wife. Donya Fiorentina was also married before. From 1990 to 1995, she was married to filmmaker David Fincher. They have a daughter named Phelix Imogen Fincher. She was born in 1994 and is Charlie’s older half-sister.

Parents Divorce & Aftermath

Donya Fiorentina filed for divorce from Gary Oldman on April 13, 2001. That same day, they separated. A month later, she accused him of choking and hitting her in front of their sons, Charlie and Gulliver. Police investigated but didn’t charge Oldman. He denied everything. During the divorce, she also accused him of substance abuse and hiring prostitutes. Oldman denied those too.

He claimed Fiorentina was the one using drugs. The court found this to be true. She had even overdosed in front of her daughter, Phelix. Oldman got full custody of Charlie and Gulliver. Fiorentina had only limited, supervised visits. In 2003, she tried to reopen the case with more claims, including Oldman burning Charlie and drugging Gulliver. The court didn’t believe her. Her visitation was reduced again.

In 2018, just before the Oscars, Florentino brought back her claims in the media. Oldman’s team said she misused the “Me Too” movement. Gulliver defended his father, saying, “It didn’t happen.” Oldman won the Oscar, but the win was controversial. Charlie and Gulliver were raised mostly by their dad and have little contact with their mother.

Career

In June 2015, Charlie was featured on the runway at the Saint Laurent show at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, alongside actor Pierce Brosna’s son, Dylan Brosna. He appeared in the music video for C-Try’s 2018 track ‘California Party’, which featured Snoop Dogg and Leese J. Besides modelling, he is also interested in music and art.

Family & Personal Life

In March 2019, several publications reported that Charlie was spotted together with actress Kiernan Shipka, who portrays Sabrina Spellman in Netflix’s supernatural horror series, ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’, outside of the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. They apparently had dined together before embarking on a stroll arm-in-arm through the streets. According to a witness, they looked happy. This has given way to speculations that they are in a relationship. However, nothing has been yet confirmed nor denied by either party.
