Ariana Grande got big news on December 9. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in Any Motion Picture at the 2025 Golden Globes. Grande plays Glinda in the new movie Wicked. The film is based on the hit musical. Cynthia Erivan, who plays Ephebe, is also nominated. Wicked tells the story of two witches before The Wizard of Oz. It is about friendship and loyalty. Grande and Erivan show this bond both on screen and in real life.

In a November interview with Deadline, Grande spoke about their friendship. She said it has grown since they first met. “We decided to take care of each other from day one,” Grande shared. “We have done that in the truest way, every step. That’s something we are very proud of.”
